I'm very curious about this.
At one point in time.. actually, when I began this journey and started to search for invites to trackers—I realized that at an early stage, I was attracted to the exclusiveness of certain trackers.
So much so that at one point, I began joining every open tracker I could find. I would get invites to reputable sites that I would never, or hardly ever, use upon getting to. Mainly because the magic behind those sites would break. Of the content I wanted, they normally had whatever I could find on my usual fixes.
Sooner or later, I mellowed out and began using only a few trackers that I really grew fond of. The mainstays were What, Waffles, and Demonoid. I only found use for some usual softwares, music, and a few books or videos. After a long time, today I see that these are now the only sites I visit regularly.
That got me to thinking—trackers, perhaps, are quite like markets. Some more suitable than others for many different people. I usually visit the store to pick up the aforementioned items. Though, now I'm very intrigued by two trackers—Bitme and Torrentleech. One because it holds a great deal of books.. like a vast virtual library of sorts, and the other because it seems like a much better version of Demonoid.
To my questions:
Does anybody else see trackers this way? Which are the ones that you use regularly?
