    Default Free vs private trackers

By free trackers i also mean the search engines like isohunt for example. What do u think is better regarding speed and amount of data? There are times that i think getting in a good prv tracker isnt worth the effort.

Yeah, public is better imo, but private is more secure....Sometimes...

I only use public trackers for big and hard to find torrents, private trackers are alot better in terms of speed. I have a 15/1.5mb connection and I can never get speeds above 180kB/s on sites like Isohunt despite the amount of seeders, but I can get a sustained 1.6MB/s on private trackers because of the members with sweedish connections and seedboxes.

So basically public trackers are better for the amount of files available and private is better for the speeds and security imo.

Public trackers usually have more content, since they aren't usually focused on certain types. Public trackers sometimes have older torrents that private trackers usually don't have, but I'd still rather be in a private tracker because the speed is so much better.

I check public first because you don't mess up your ratio; then if I can't find it move on to private trackers.

The only time I use free tracking sites is obviously when none of the private sites have the album, games etc.. that im after.
