Thread: A newbie with some general tracker questions.

Hi everyone. I am quite new to the private tracker scene and I am slowly finding my way around. I was looking for some advice. I am a member of several open signups trackers which are quite good for my film and TV fixes but I was wondering what the ultimate trackers are for film and TV? I was wondering if there are some good dedicated ebook sites? The general ones have some but their selection is limited. All help and advice is much appreciated thank you.

I must agree with the previous poster also go into the tracker review section of our forum and have yourself a read as there are many trackers out there

if i had to start all over again, i'd definitely go with BTN (ratioless) as my source for TV shows and MyAnonamouse (bonus system is to die for ) for ebooks. both of them are rather easy to get into because of the shear number of invites moving around. but having to name just one tracker as my "fix for the movies", is really hard. i've heard good things about PTP and HD-T but without actually being a member there, i can't vouch for them. instead get your hands on a TL (needs good speeds) or IPT (easy ) invite. i know that they aren't dedicated trackers for filmography but their invites are easier to get.

also, as you are still a newby in this world, a word of warning. NOT ALL OF THE TRACKERS NAMED IN THIS THREAD ARE EASY TO SEED, some of them even might need a seedbox to stay alive. so, to know what you get yourself into, you better read the reviews.

Hey thank you for your replies...what a really comprehensive list! I found the reviews before joining T-I...this was my main reason for joining. The list is a bit daunting because there are so many trackers out there! Heard lots of good things about PTP and bibliotik sounds good to me. Time to use my new seedbox to help with my ratio proofs to get my invites!

Hey thanks. I've heard BTN is good too. I am on Torrentday which is fab. They start is 3GB credit and lots of the TV packs are freeleech. They have lots of moviepacks too and I am wondering how it will progress when it closes its doors on 31st July. I have got a seedbox for the moment but I don't know if I can justify the monthly outlay each month so I'll def look out for ease of seeding!

PTP for movies BTN for TV and Bibliotik and/or MyAnonamouse for ebooks this is all your need

BTN is definitely my most used tracker. Followed by PTP.
