Default Whats next up from HD-T?

I've been in HD-T for a while now, initially I didn't like it but now I do. My appreciation followed my purchase of a Popcorn Hour A210 and 1GB seedbox and some 2TB HDDs! Anyway I'm now looking for the next step upwards in HD trackers.

So what is there between HD-Torrents and HDbits.org?

I'm not really looking for an alternative to HD-T I'm looking for an improvement on it.

I'm looking for somewhere like HD-T but with more torrents (mainly after bd25/bd50, untouched blu ray, remuxes), quicker releases, better retention and at least similar speeds and quality.

HD-T is great like you said. It has a very good internal teams. If you search for HD tracker beside HD-T, there are many like CHDBits, BD25, Bit-HDTV, Awesome-HD, HDRoad, framestor-hd and TTG.

But humble opinion that if you have Awesome-HD and CHD beside HD-T, maybe you wont need HDBits ;-). Specially CHD.

TTG has WiKi as internal team and HDRoad has MySilu as internal team so one team only and you have to download a specific amount every moth/week so no need to them. Even if it's little amount it's amount in the end. Framestor-hd a successful new tracker with framestor as its internal team open signup now. BD25 is a tracker which about to be a ratio free with EuReKA as its main internal team. Its a good tracker if you a BD25 lover. EuReKA known by their good quality. Bit-HDTV is a good HD tracker has a lot of contents and two teams FLAWL3SS & HDxT with their BRRips and BDRips but I believe it's under HD-T not between it and HDBits.

Awesome-HD is a perfect Gazelle based HD tracker. There are a lot of internal teams like D-Z0N3, de[42], decibeL, HDRemuX, HiFi and Penumbra.

Finaly, CHDBits tracker that I can't talk enough about it or about it's great internal team "CHD". They are fatest P2P team in the world some times fatest from the scene. Its invites a little hard to get but in many times there a good and easy chances to get a one (specially here on T-I).

Sorry about all these words (much of talking) but I wanted to explain all to you (from my opinion atleast) to go to the right tracker.

Cool, nice one for the info. I have been checking out BD25 for the last couple of days and I like the content but it does seem very slow, I've grabbed a 23GB film which is still only 85% done and thats after 1 day 9 hrs downloading from 2 seeds! Maybe its a one off and the rest are fast but I'll give it a while to find out anyway.
Thanks for the heads up on Framestor, just joined and really liking the look of it there. Loads of content with plenty of freeleech and most have seeds. I grabbed a 15GB film and its done in 25 mins. Nice! Can't believe its open sign up, awesome site! Should keep me quiet for a bit.

Think I might persue AwesomeHD next and then maybe try CHDBits.

Ok I've done some stats on the HD trackers I'm in and basically HD-T still wins, and by quite a big margin as the stats below show.

This is the order I'm putting them in, based on total number of new HD torrents upped on 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th August inclusive:

    1) HD-Torrents - 119 torrents upped.
    2) AwesomeHD - 32 torrents upped.
    3) Framestor - 26 torrents upped.
    4) BD25 - 12 torrents upped.
    5) BlueBird - 10 torrents upped.
    6) BitHQ - 7 torrents upped.

I appreciate this may not be how everyone rates an HD tracker but I have decided the most important factor to me seems to be number of new torrents on offer per day.
So with this being the most important facter, what is the next best HD tracker to HD-Torrents?

Perhaps somebody could post the same stats from other HD trackers to see what beats HD-T?

That's very valuable information, thanks for your research. But do you count high definition audio as HD torrents? It makes comparing sites a little difficult as some HD trackers are dedicated to only HD movies while others do everything related to high definition content, audio and music videos for instance, and some trackers are less TV-oriented. And one should not forget about ripping apps and codecs, but I assume that those don't fall under the definition of HD torrents. SceneHD is a tracker that has only scene releases, while some trackers have lots of internal encoders. Having one 720, one 1080 and one untouched blu-ray of each movie also adds to the number of torrents but not that much to the number of unique movies. And if you have lots of encoding groups doing the same films, you might end up having a torrent count that is 10 times the number of unique titles. But I don't know, maybe there were not that many 'duplicates' during those four days that you reviewed the activity on those trackers? But of course using your method one should see rather fast from the rate of new releases that which trackers are more active.

Yeah I'd be the first to admit my method isn't the most exact scientific way of monitoring the HD movie uploads but it has shown HD-T is miles ahead and still would be ahead even knocking a few torrents off here and there for being music or dupe or whatever.
And if another site got close to HD-T then I'd look closer to see what the torrents consisted of to be sure.

So what's higher up there? I'm thinking CHDBits and HDChina definately but not HDRoad nor HD-Ahoy?

    So thats:-

    Top - HDBits.org

    High - CHD, ChinaHD

    Medium High - ?

    Medium - HD-T

    Medium low - A-HD, HD-Ahoy, HD-Road

Low - Framestor, BD25, BlueBird, BitHQ

So what's in there Medium High?

You should also blu-bits in consideration because there are more internal teams every day. And good work about these stats really helpful info

    Good luck.

What on earth did you base this on? Number of users? Number of torrents? Torrent quality? I apologies if I didn't understand what you wrote above the list.

To me HD-T is one of the lowest possible trackers there is, due to it's staff, lack of internals and user activity. I used to be staff over at HD-T so perhaps my experience differs from most "normal" users. Quality wise A-HD and Framestor are up way higher then the garbage CHD releases. HDBits.org used to be something great, now there's so much alternatives and better internal encoders elsewhere, it's nothing more then a closed off tracker most torrenters will never experience.

IMHO these days you can choose trackers based on how you like it instead of going after # of torrents or users since most trackers offer the exact same content any way.

I didn't mean to offend you though, just my 2 cents.

HaHaHa! Well I did say it wasn't the most scientific way of comparing trackers!

No I was just basing it on number of HD releases per day really, and as I mainly only grab untouched blu rays or remuxes the quality is much the same in each tracker, in fact its identical in some as they are the same group's work. My logic says more choice = better, since quality is the same.

You may well be right about the quality issues with CHD and HDBits, I wouldn't know right now but it would be nice to find out for myself!

As far as the staff being ok or not - I don't really get into all that, I just d/l content. Funny that you have that opinion of tracker staff when I was having a lively debate about just that issue on here a short while ago and everyone was telling me how wonderful staff always are, and how its a difficult and thankless task, and they should be given a break by us. Personally I don't know what to think about all that and I'm sitting firmly on the fence!

But thank you for your input, always good to have more opinions on stuff.
