Thread: What % of your downloaded torrents do you actually keep and how much do you buffer

yeah I think I just store about half of the stuff I download
sometimes just a word in torrent's name makes me download it but when I see it I delete it immediately.

I keep about 50% of them.
Half of it I just download to build my ratio.

ooooooh thats a tough question, I find myself downloading a lot of stuff that I'm not even remotely interested on most of the time and with my two HD's almost completely full I think I grab in between 60-70% just for the buff, I would keep the stuff even if I didn't like it but as mentioned I don't even have the space to do so.

i usually keep everything i download even if i havent seen/heard/used it

most of the time im seeding up to 2tb and i keep everything else archived so if theres a reseed request i can jump on it and build the buffer even more (i have about 8ish tb HDD atm once i run out of room ill either add more or trash some of the old stuff)

At home, i always get these torrents downloaded seeding all the time untill the electronic is off ! So my buffer is not so low!

I download 85% of stuff which i need right now or in the future. So most of the downloads are kept for quite a long time. Also I have access to trackers more now rather than later so right now I am buffering my ratios in which ever tracker I can as my upload speed is really horrible. So in some my ratio is 6 or above some around 1 and few below 1. I don't keep the movies for a long time maybe 2 weeks and then after watching I delete them. Some rare learning stuff I have been seeding for 1- 2 months. Also those torrents which have few seeders are kept as long as possible.
