Thread: would you ever cheat ?

i will start this off by saying no i wouldn't cheat on a torrent site

ok so last night i was looking around on google just for something to do
and i found a couple of posts on some board where people where saying they use some program ... or the google agent switcher to boost there ratio
and fake the upload of a file ... so they can leech all they want and not give anything back .. and still keep a good ratio

question is ... would anyone here do that .. or has anyone here ever done that ?????




as i said at the top of the post ... i wouldn't do it due to i like to give back what i take & help keep the torrent alive

& i guess there is a chance of getting your ip banned ... << i dont what that so that's another reason why i wouldn't do it

but how do the programs work .. the site i was looking on said that all you need is the .torrent file and it can / will some how spoof the tracker in to thinking that your uploading the set amount that you have put in the program

but my question is ... how does the program trick the tracker in to thinking that you have the full file on your computer ... and does the program up load anything at all ??

most good trackers have scripts that pick up programs faster than you can start them.

I Would Never Cheat cous i got to good Bandwith :P.
