can I get around a situation when the torrent I've downloaded exist on the second tracker site but with a sligthly changed name? Like .avi added at the end?

yes change the name of the .torrent u are trying to seed on the new tracker to the same as the one u already have
also make sure they are in the same format, just because they are the same size doesn't mean they are in the same format, it wont work if this is the case

I'm sure I did change the name, and I've checked the structure of the file ans still instead of checking/seeding it started downloading it from the scratch...
oh - do you mean I need to find the torrent file on my pc and change it manually ( not in torrent client? )
also - will it mean that it will stop seeding for the original source?
