Default Connecting to torrent sites through international proxies.

Is this a) Legal. b) Allowed?

I understand that we get our upload speeds choked in the UK and the only way to stop this is to connect through an international proxy. Is using software like BTGuard and Tor allowed? This would mean that I can upload more and download quicker!

    Thanks in advance!

Oh right... good job I don't use it on my torrent computer! But what about the torrent sites... what do they think, could I get banned if I did?

Thanks, is there any way of telling which... Or do I just have to scroll through the T&Cs?

The ones I use are iptorrents, bittorrent.ro and demonoid.

Also would it actually mean I can download and upload quicker? Or just anonymously?

I think you would find that your service provider would throttle you torrents no matter what client you use. I am in Thailand and no matter what I do or how I try to disguise my p2p the ISP still throttles. Your only defense is to max out in off peak times.
