I torrent only from my seedbox, and then download the stuff that I want to keep/watch to my house via a SFTP transfer. The stuff that I'm using solely to boost my ratio I never download from my seedbox. Everything else I generally keep. I have a file server at the house with 3 2TB HD's, 2 1.5 TB HD's and a couple 1TB drives. I only delete stuff if it really sucks.
The only thing I backup is my personal files. Everything else I just keep 1 copy of, as I figure I can always redownload it if something happens.
Eh depends on the file honestly. If it's just a ratio booster then of course I just leave it on the box. If it's a movie I usually consume and remove unless I really like the flick. If that's the case I typically delete the original and go get an HD release to enjoy it thoroughly again. If it's a music I keep everything on both the box and the laptop. I FTP a LOT of music.
Poll should be multiple choice ;)
I have a media server at home with about 12TB of favourite movies and TV. I don't keep everything just the stuff I'll watch again.
To be honest, most of what I download now on the seedbox is just for seeding, I downloaded some movies I actually wanted to see but have been too busy to even download them to my own home box to watch it.
well, you remember the VCR times when you watched something so much that the tape lost quality and even had blackouts? same goes for my Chuck and Fringe releases
anyways, only TV shows that i've stored are Fringe and Chuck. both in either bluray encodes or web releases. the res t of the shows i watch only once.
