Default Recent DoS attacks on trackers?!

ive been hearing alot of sites being attacked and another thread mentioning BCG has sort of turned into a discussion of these things and i decided to make a thread about it.

-are any of these attacks related?
-is it possible to find out who was behind these said attacks?
-how many trackers/sites have been affected by this?

Seems likely - BCG, TheBox, WhatCD, BH have been or are still offline

I highly doubt that these sites will get help from their hosting providers :) Most likely their sites will be down until the ddos fade away. It is just a part of the game.

I highly doubt their providers would ignore this. It's a matter of security, and no one wants to be attacked. Especially when it's on their territory.

Providers will null-route the ips depending on the magnitude of the ddos. Most of them will just ignore customer's requests or pretend to work on the issue. There are some providers in US that I know who can filter massive incoming requests but it will be very expensive.
