Thread: Pretome VIP

Mmmk I finally decided to buy VIP on Pretome, and it says that you can hit and run, but abuse will be dealt with. Mmmm well what do they consider abuse? Has anyone actually received a warning from hit and running torrents a lot with VIP? It says if you HNR most of your torrents you will be dealt with. Well I'm not going to HNR 3 and seed 4, it's either all or nothing to me.

VIP isn't worth it if the only thing you get is +V in a chat room and double upload purchases

Why waste your money on pretome? Its not like its hard to seed to.

Aha. No. I spent PTM Credits xD. $10 for one month of VIP? Gimme a f*cking break.

I think that since you're not really paying anything to become VIP (if you just use credits), it's more of just a status upgrade is all. There aren't many benefits but it's a somewhat nice option to have especially as it isn't hard to get credits there. As most people aren't paying for VIP, I think it's fair that they still will consider some HnRs as bad, as honestly if you're just HnRing everything, that does nothing to help the community.

Yeah well it's not a morality contest. I could care less if I help out Pretome. Besides, how is seeding enough torrents to accumulate 1000 points not helping Pretome.

I don't see how this is off-topic. You asked why they should limit HnRs even for their VIPs, that was my response. I'm not trying to outmoral anybody, that is just what I see as their rationale. And it's not hard at all to get 1000 points, just seed 200 10kb files and you're done.

My question was whether people had gotten warnings about the HNR's, or if they were just blowing smoke. I never questioned why they limited the HNR's.

Well, I myself bought VIP status for 6 months (7 months actually ), which costs 6k.
So, now I can buy 20MB for 1 credit. That's the only benefit of being VIP, nothing else.

If u think that people will respect u more for being VIP, then u'r wrong. Because, regular members knows this fact. & I never DL'ed anything from Pretome, neither I've done cross-seeding. But, got 100+GB UL.

No one has done this?..

Seems strange. As almost everyone has PTM...
