    Default Anyone else afraid to invite RL friends to their trackers?

    This might sound nuts, but I'm not inclined to invite my real life friends to my trackers because:

    1) Most of my RL friends are not very tech savvy and although I'd be happy to help them (they ARE friends, after all), I'm afraid they are going to screw something up (and thus potentially get me in trouble).

    2) I'm not keen on letting my RL friends know that I'm in the underground community (in a worst case scenario they might let that info slip to someone I don't know and bad things could happen)

    Anyone else wrestle with this dilemma?

    Yeah, gotta make sure they know how to use a computer and are willing to keep it on 24/7. Those two things are the most important.

    I usually tell friends I'm on the fence about inviting to wait for open registrations, happens at least once a year on random trackers it seems (e.g. revtt, bcg recently). That way there is no inviter that is responsible if they mess up or something.
