Thread: Negative Rep Clarification

I couldn't find this anywhere else but what is the rules as far negative repping.

I dont mind someone not itrading me or rep me (its 8/14 and 4/14 from invites i have given away) but two things really annoy me.

Two people that i have given invites two haven't even bothered to use them despite in my giveaway saying only apply if you really want the pass.



I can understand if people join and the site hasnt got what your looking for so you give the account away or just let it die but why ask for an invite if your not even going to bother signing up. It just prevents someone who really wants it getting it.

Is this worth a negative rep or am i being too petty?

Also someone PM'd me asking for an invite out of the nowhere , I obliged , no itrader, no rep again i can overlook that but they didnt even bother to say" thank you".

I send a pm 36 hours later saying "gee I thought a thanks wasnt too much to ask and still didnt get a reply"

IMO i would like to give these people a negative rep as it makes them have to be better members to ensure they get their next invite.

What are the rules ? and I'd also value others opinions

Me too i have this problem with some ppl who don't bother to say thanks or ignore the pm asking to itrade me .

These ppl are just too greedy jumping on invites or they never appreciate the kindness .
I will definitely give them a negative feedback aft a few pm .

I think i will in future giveaways I will make clear anyone who requests an invite and doesn't sign up will be negative rep'd

mm37 everyone has this problem and your idea of warning people about the negative rep is actually a good idea, but somehow i think that the guy who pm'd you about an invite and your generosity to give should be acknowledged and for him not to say at least thank you is so f**king rude.

BTW: What i don't get is how hard is it to Itrade someone? Its takes me at least 10 seconds..

a few things here, you might have noticed that the rep is broken in that it only displays 1 bar.
Feel free to negative rep anyone that pisses you off, thats what it is for, If someone doesnt iTrade u then PM them, I do, and I negative rep about 30 posts a day

Well, just to expand on this issue:

If you get an invite to a tracker, but decide due to whatever reason you don't really fit in or you don't like it, is it OK to ask the staff of the tracker to close your account...? And would a person who gave you the invite be offended?

I think that this would be better then getting disabled for inactivity, trying to give away the account or trading it.
