I believe that we do not need any more new trackers. The thing is to make better the trackers that already exist. Every week I see a couple (at least) of new trackers! What do we need so many of them? Old trackers need to be upgraded in order to fulfill our tastes!

+1 to this. I can't believe how many new trackers there are... It is ridiculous. When I sign up to them, They always have the exact same content that IPT has, except in 600 torrent form.

    Not in any particular order:

    1) Ratioless
    2) Active and very level headed staff
    3) Easy and very intuitive web site navigation
    4) Uniformity in torrent details page (imdb/cduniverse/amazon links, screen shots etc etc)
    5) Very strong incentives to seed and to be active in the forums
    6) Very strong incetives to donate

In my opinion, there is only 1 tracker that meets all of those criteria at the moment.

Ratioless, so that it's all good for people with terrible upload speeds.
    New content everyday.
High number of peers (esp. seeders).
Torrents with good descriptions (and screenshots if necessary).
    Fast website! Simple user interface.
    Freeleech.
