I have a friend with an upload speed better than mine.
I was thinking on giving him my account details so he can seed the same torrent that i am seeding at the sime time and that way buffer my ratio faster.

My question is, am i gonna get banned for doing that? my firend obviously lives at the same country as i am so its gonna be a different IP but from the same country.
Can we both be logged in? or am i gonna have to log out?

Anyway, is there a way to do it without getting banned?

If they find out about it then yes, you will get banned. The policy is that sharing accounts is not allowed.
However if you must do this, here are a few tips to help you:

• Make sure that only one of you is logged-in to the website simultaneously, and also wait some time from the time one of you logs out until the other one logs in.
• Do not leech from both machines simultaneously. Note that you can SEED torrents from more than one machine, even simultaneously, but only one machine can LEECH at a time.
• NEVER EVER download a torrent that your friend has already downloaded or vice-versa.

I agree with the rest of what you said. The part I've quoted is something else. I did that many times, never got banned. Maybe I was just lucky.

Well being that your frien is in the country the ipthing should not be an issue persay, because i log in to my account from work and its a different ip there. But as apow2 say, both of you try not to be logged on at the sam time cause the may get supicous of your activity and may even rule it as trying to cheat the system! I know of person who gets banned and the answer the get from the person at Tl is to much different ip address!! Presently my IP adress is static.

I already downloaded the torrent and now i am seeding it. So even if im gonna log out of my account i will still be able to keep seeding it right?
And my friend can download the same torrent and then seed it also so that way we are both seeding the same torrent from different computers?

No, your friend can't download the same torrent and seed it because it breaks rule no. 3 - do not download the same torrent twice. You will need to transfer the release between you using some other means.

First af all, you invented these rules. Second, I doubt your knowledge. Nothing personal.
I moved form Romania to Italy and downloaded the exact torrent again and had no issue what so ever. Hell, when I had ration problems and could not get online I gave my account to a friend of mine for a few days. Still nothing happend. Now, is this luck?

Before making claims like that, maybe you should check your information first. This is taken directly from TL's FAQ's. If you weren't banned, then maybe you were lucky or a reasonable period of time had passed between the two downloads.

Just be aware that we do not tolerate any sharing of account on TL. This means that if we find anybody downloading the same release more than once, the user's account will be banned for ever. So make sure you don't download stuff more than once.

You're right, having a dynamic I.P doesn't matter anymore. It's all done through your passkey now.
