Yes, effectively the limit of your download will be the limit of your ISP speed. This assumes of course (as mentioned above), that you can multithread ftp from your box. Torrentswift does allow this, as I max out my fios conn all the time with it. The exception to this is if you have a torrent that is not zipped. For example, lets say you d/l from a site that distro's their stuff naked as the day it was born (ozone and tvtorrents.ro are both good examples). Now you have, say a 1 GB file that you need to download. My experience with this has been with every seedbox I've ever been on, the the max a single thread ever hits is about 500k. I don't know if that's a ceiling set by the provider or what, though I suspect that is the case. When a seedbox company advertises a certain # of "max ftp conns", it's good to know if they are capping the ftp connection. Some providers I've used they seem to top out at like 150k per thread, while others stop at up to 500k. Well anyway, hope that helps :-)
