Definition of freelech and double upload
Requested Definitions
FREELEECH
Right say you have a fresh account with Torrent-Damage. Your initial ratio would be "inf" (infinity) or 0. With 0 download and 0 upload. With freelech active, you can download as much as you want and it wont be registered on your stats, you you could download 1000GB (1TB) and your stats would say you have donloaded 0 (NOTHING) just dont hit and run (exit your bittorrent client) as soon as download has finished, otherwise you will incur a warning!!!
DOUBLE UPLOAD
Right, again, say you have a fresh account with Torrent-Damage. Again you ratio will be 0 downloaded and 0 uploaded. You decide to download "Wanted". Upon completing the download (when it's at 100%), if you have manage to seed, say 1GB. Ordinarily, your ratio stats would say that you have uploaded 1GB. BUT, because of DOUBLE UPLOAD, they will MATCH what you upload. So your stats would say that you have uploaded 2GB.
This is only available for set periods of time, so be sure that you KNOW when it will end. You dont want to be hammering the downloads, only to find out that freeleech finished a couple of days ago and since then you've amassed 30GB of downloads which WILL be recorded on your ratio stat.
Trackers usually enable the above, to help people sort their ratio stats out. So if a tracker you use has 1 of the above enabled (or both), use it whilst you can to put your account in a healthy condition and seed as much as possible, ready for later.
Hope that helps clear a few things up.

Good explanations buddy...the thing is that if my memory isn't letting me down,I remember that this Double Upload feature never been implemented before untill maybe late of 2007,early of 2008....since I guess they needed to come up with something new just to keep the swarm alive...

Great work! I believe this will help pretty much beginners in the torrent scenes.

Nice explanation. Only one thing:
I will move it to the tutorial section. =p Literally it isn't exactly a tutorial but comes close enough in my eyes.

This concept is clearly stated. Only one question here! Does this happens at torrent-damage or you were just using them as an example?
