I also use EAC, but i reckon it's also a good way to do it.
i use adobe audition.But i didn't know that winamp rip.thx.
EAC (for Windows); XLD (for MAC), dBpoweramp (not free). These are probably the best choices at the moment.
I am personally usng EAC (Exact Audio Copy 1.0 Beta 2 (International)). I like it very much. There are some issues currently unsolved in the software installed on Win 7 (x64) though. Therefore, I would not recomment its installation on x64 systems (to avoid those issues, I have it installed on my Win 7 x64 PC and on Laptop with Win 7 x86).
