Default quick encoding guide using megui

    what you will need

    1) xvid codec

    2)AC3filter

    3) megui

    4) AviSynth

you can download the AC3Filter from here http://www.afterdawn.com/softw...codecs/ac3filter.cfm
all of the rest are included in this pack thanks to iTpHo3NiX nice 1 for that click there> DVDRip.Pack-iTpHo3NiX

    setup

install the AC3Filter just follow the setup
install xvid codec located iin the folder XviD Installer
now for megui the best way to do this is to copy this folder "MeGUI_0.3.5_x86_WithoutInstaller_OfflinePacka ge" to another location on you hdd this includes avisynth then start megui by clicking megui app icon in the folder then you will have a message asking you to update click yes and update megui it is important you copy the folder to another location or it will make you torrent not match you seed any more you may need to do the updates a few times don't worry this is normal

    now time to begin encoding

step 1 (for dvdr ripping only)

open megui and click tool then file indexer In the Input File section load the first VOB file of the movie titleset

then deselect any audio tracks that you do not want on you movie select both the on completion load files and close then click queue then go to queue tab and click start then you should get a dv2 file

    step 2

open megui then press ctrl and r or click tools and avs script creator then in video input load either the dv2 file if its a dvdrip or the movie file if its a reconvert and press auto crop button if i needs cropping have it ticked then tick resize and suggest resolution (mod16)

next for dvd rips or advanced encoding need to go to filters have colour correction ticked and also click analyse button
if it is a noisy film have noise filter ticked too
then click save your new script should now auto load in to megui

make sure your video out put path is set then go to encoder settings and choose the codec you would like to use i find xvid: 2pass HQ best but is different depending on what encoder you ask and what out put container you using were just going to go for a normal avi ok once you selected xvid: 2pass HQ then change the file formate to avi and this part is now completed there are other more advanced things you can do by click config button but again would depend on what you want to do

    step 3

    ok now for audio

for dvd rip load the .ac3 file that was made if your audio has 6channel you may need to edit 2ch part to 6ch if audio is not 6channel do not change it, for reconvert just load the movie file
make sure the audio out put path is the same as the video then go to encoder settings and choose aften AC -3 scratchpad or lame mp3: scratchpad depending what typ of audio you want
note mp3 does not support 6 channels keep that in mind when choosing
next if its not already change extension box to mp3 or ac3 then click config to change the bit rate to one of your choice

    step 4

ok next click auto encode make sure the container typ is avi then choose your file size for higher video bit rate make the file size bigger typical bit rate should be at the minimum 1000kbps for a xvid avi once your happy click queue

then click queue tab and click start then let the magic happen enjoy
    AssaSin and pgmoney like this.
