After using it for a couple of days gotta say that I'm loving the new format. Couple of thoughts though -

4) Should Low, Mid, and Trust be raised to the top of Area 51?

Yes, having the Give Invites (Low, mid & trusted) at the top of Area 51 seems apt, especially since it is the most commonly used forum in this section. This could be followed by the 'Requests' forum.

6) Should The Exalted & VIPs be moved to Area 51?

The Exalted & VIP forums are malleable enough to belong to either 'The Couch' or 'Area 51', but since Area 51 is already inundated with forums and The Couch would be sparse without these, the current positions work well.


Also the section headings (The Couch, Helpdesk, Think Thank etc.) generally tend to be skipped when browsing through and are not easily noticed since they are succeeded by 'Forum' which is also in white and of a similar font, and the forums' headings are in blue and in bigger fonts. So if the section headings are made slightly larger (or a different colour?) it may be aesthetically more appealing, and noticeable.
