Thread: What do you want?

I would like to thank everyone that provided feedback on the forum changes. We heard your suggestions and created a new design. Please let us know which design you like the most.

1) Keep things the way they are.

2) OPTION 2 TEST FORUM - Move most forums to the home page and combine giveaways into a single section. There's also a "Think Tank" section for discussions, tutorials, reviews, suggestions and help.

3) OPTION 3 TEST FORUM - Go back to the old design.

So which option do you like the most?

I like having most of the forums on the home page so I don't have to click/ search as much.

I'm going to have to with option 3 as well.
The current layout and option 2 make it harder to easily find the right sub-forum.

Option 2 mos def. I like getting rid of some the bloat and less is more. Thanks Vegas.

I like option 2 as well. Less clutter is always better. Plus, the sections I'm usually active in are right at the top so less scrolling for me. I know this isn't the case for many users, but I'm talking about me and that makes all the difference from my point of view.

I also use the New Posts tab most of the time anyways so the change won't effect me as much as it would others. Although, I think we need a new title for the section. The Think Tank? Not many people do a lot of thinking in those sections. Gonna add a haha here.

I chose option 1 for the sole reason that this site IS focused on invite giveaways. By combining all giveaway subforums into one, it is focusing more on the off-topic convo(by showing more activity in 5 other subforums compared to 1 giant giveaway subforum), therefore new users will be less willing to join here. For new users, option 1 is the best. For older users, option 2 stands out. I chose option 1 because adding more users to this site is always a plus, and that I haven't been very active lately to see which specific subforums have the best off topic content and which just attracts more useless spam.

Option 2 did seem much neater though due to the shorter sub forum descriptions.

edit: el2em's reason makes sense to me as well. By moving giveaways up, it does actually save time browsing the forums. Maybe I should have chosen option 2...
