    Hi Guys!

Just a note to make you aware of a few changes we have made at T-I.

From this point onward, the intro section will not be viewable to anyone less than 55%. The reason for this is to prevent unauthorized repping in of midgets. You will, of course, still be able to see your own intro. Those of you interested in learning how to rep in a new member can browse the Accepted and Rejected subforums of the Intro section and read through old intros. That is the best way to learn. Any questions on the Introduction repping process should be directed to our Lead Intro Mod, Hummingbird.

We have also decided to make the thanks button available to everyone on site. Previously, only those who had reached 33% and above were able to leave a thanks. We hope that the ability to give thanks will cut down on the amount of spam from those in the 10% user group, who simply want to express gratitude. This will also make it much easier for new users to gain a little rep in the low level section of the site. Not enough thanks is given to new users handing out low level invites, and we hope these changes will positively affect that.

I hope you all are as pleased with these strides forward as I am. We are constantly striving to make TI the best invite forum on the Internet, and these changes should help us with that goal. As always, questions and opinions can be left in the comments section.

    Take care,

    T-I Staff

I noticed the changes in the introduction, but I really like the changes with the thanks button. For the very reasons you mentioned, this site will become so much better. Thanks Jenna!

Yes, I have found it very useful to now have the thanks button because now I can who people that I appreciate their post without having to actually post the thanks myself.

I like your ideas on the thanks button, I know how much of a pain in the ass it is to get that mere 30 rep you want as a 10%er, good job with that :D

And also, with the Intro's, I feel that is good as we have seen a few cases of people repping in random intros, so nice :).

    Thanks MrI for the avatar.

I thought it was ridiculous members had to earn [the ability to use] the thanks button. Glad that's now changed.

In any case, I support all of the new changes. It's great we're working harder with the intros as I've seen threads and IRC chats regarding unauthorized repping.

I don't know if removing your thanks link was present earlier. But now I can see it there. Great stuff. This way we can rep the person without having the excuse that I thanked you and can't rep you now ;).

Ohhhh wow. Thanks for pointing that out [SilverSurfer]. I'm going to thank you, remove it, and perhaps thank you again.

Now mods won't be PMed about accidental thanking.

Hehe el2em, someones not reading carefully or forgetting xD. I agree thanks staff for making these changes and i can only see that it is making T-I progress further. As for the low level giveaways i used to be slack and not visit them but after that old announcement you made Jenna i visit there every few days to thank the new people contributing.

True, true, true. After JJ mentioned not enough 10% were receiving the rep they deserve, I've been visiting all levels of invite sections frequently. I've marked this forum with my nick. Yes!
