Thread: A sappy message for Valentines Day

Hey everybody,

Today is Valentines Day. I urge you all to take the time to remember the people you love today, and make it extra special for them. Remember that Valentines Day isn't just about romantic love but about celebrating love, period. So take a moment and do something special for the people that matter in your life. Your family, friends, even your pets... do a little something special.



And yes I practice what I preach. And so, in honor of all the wonderful friends I have made here at T-I, I am donating $100.00 to the Make A Wish Foundation, a charity that strives to put a smile on the face of those who need it most - the children. This is my gift to T-I and my thank you to a community that has brought so much love and friendship into my life. T-I is about so much more than sharing invites and those of you that love this place as much as I do understand that.

I urge all of you to look to your hearts and find your own way to make someone else happy in whatever way you can. Feel free to post below the ways that you celebrated today.

And good initiative with donating to Make a wish foundation! I'll do that myself right away!
Just a couple a years ago i was one of the children who received a visit from the Make a wish foundation, so it's great to hear that even on forums like these on the internet, people think about, and support such causes!

Thank you for donating to such a wonderful organization Jenna. I know as someone who's had dealings with them, it means a lot.

Sadly, my V-day wasn't as spectacular as I had planned it all in my head, due to 4 foot drifts of snow. I did however manage to look heroic by blasting through them all to pick the girlfriend up from work, knowing her car wouldn't make it through, and not wanting her to have to spend the night in town with relatives.

Had a nice relaxing night with movies, and great food. Even though I wasn't able to take her out to dinner as planned, she gladly accepted a raincheck.

Thanks for everyone at T-I who is helping to make this place wonderful, and I don't mean just the mods.

There are also users going above and beyond that don't get enough recognition, so thank you;
TankGirl, Hummingbird, AfterMidnight, and flutrose, for everything you do around here.

If I missed anyone, and you know that you contribute around here as much as these folks do, I apologize, it was pure accident that your name was left out, I'm sure. Keep doing what you're doing.

Well I celebrated V-Day in Mexico, wishing the person I "fancy" would be here with me. /sigh

Nice post, and that's a great thing you did. If I had some extra funds that I didn't already blow(lol), I would be joining you in that donation. Happy Valentines day to TI, as well as you Jenna. :)
