Or bow down before the might that is the Exalted.

If the path is clear go. A clue to help you on your way.

    Clue:
You read them every time you visit but they are not threads. They are the first thing you see, but its the numbers that interest me. Once you have the key you can fish for the cipher.

Universally renown as the most wanted killer of all time, he has been hunted by the most secret of government organizations, so secret that even the governments that created them had little idea of their existence. He lives today as a trained rabbit hunter and has avoided detection for a millennium, he is, The Exalted.

Well, You read them every time you visit but they are not threads,

could be PM's ( 500 number of maximum PM's) or igiver notification.

They are the first thing you see, but its the numbers that interest me :

i'm thinking of the calendar on the home page...

The message seem to be coded in hexadecimal, using 0-9 and A-F

i tried to change ABCDEF for IGIVER,
and 0123456789 for REPUTATION by simple changing the letters clearly not gonna be that easy and ended up with a jumble with lots of 'i's but if you have the brain power (i clearly dont) using hexadecimal seems as though it could be the way!

I did a frequency analysis on the ciphertext, treating each hex number as a letter, but unfortunately I didn't get back the standard frequency for English text.

    Total unique hex numbers: 187
Maximum frequency hex number '23' : 4 times

Since we have 187 letters instead of 26, we could either have each letter of the english alphabet represented with more than one hex number, or nulls... or both :D

EDIT (some more thoughts): This flamy guy says that he is interested in the numbers. This ciphertext is static and the same for all of us, which means that the key to it must be a number that must not change (at least not for the duration of the contest) and that it is global and same for all of us... so it can't be PMs or IGiver because we all have different numbers there. Date changes all the time, so scratch that.. the only thing that I could find so far that also kind of fits in the riddle is the version of the forum software and the copyright numbers.

I could be totally wrong, but I think the idea of finding global numbers that are the same for all, should be correct

Born from a mortal mother, but son of the God of war Ares, half human - half God, gifted with special powers, he secretly fights since the making of the Earth with the prime evils for the survival of our race. Without a doubt the most talented warrior of the known world, he singlehandedly defeated armies of hell's creatures and demons, smashing their bones to pieces with his heavy maul. Now he had been brought back to life and with his newly found strength, he's ready to face his greatest challenge ever, the fight with the immortals, I present to you, The Exalted!

Are we supposed to find only the key , or decipher the whole text ?
The key seems plain to catch from the clue ^(128 bit).
But fishing seems out of my reach.

Or else I am way off...
