    Wouldn't it be better not to tell people what vBulletin version you use? Just by displaying the Powered by vBulletin x.x.x is a security vulnerability itself.

    Is there a way that at the taskbar of firefox instead of it saying "vBulletin Upgrade - T-I" It will just say "T-I"?

    @tomz;
    vBulletin 3.8.4 has no publicly known security flaws.
    If the person who was trying to take down the site knew
    a vulnerability, chances are the version number
    would not be a problem to get.

    infested is a little confused i think, he means the firefox tab states vbulletin upgrade to 3.8.4 !!!!

    Its just the title of the topic and i think he believes it will say it everywhere,
