Thread: [IMPORTANT]Account giveaways! Vote to keep... or not keep them!

After much pressure from both mods, and users alike.

It has come to a vote.



A poll will be setup.

There has to be at least 200 votes before any action is taken.

For account giveaways to be banned the poll must be won by at least 10 percent.

Advertising of this poll in any signature or post is forbidden. Dupe accounts will be banned as always.

There are some trackers where invites are disabled.
So how give access to those trackers ?
It's why I want to keep them.

like nobody say, some trackers disabled invites...

Get rid of them, they are a security hazard, even more so than invite giveaways, I don't need to go through the reasons why as they've been talked about over and over, but I think it's time for them to go.

So I'm a freakin idiot and I voted yes, thinking the question was "Do you want to remove account giveaways" if at all possible please change my vote.

Before you vote on this thread, please consider what's best for T-I. Keep in mind:

1. While some trackers dislike public invite GAs, ALL trackers HATE traders & account GAs
2. You might get banned for simply belonging to a site that condones account GAs
3. Do you want your invites being tossed away here or at another site?
4. Did banning traders hurt T-I or help it?

I voted NO to account GAs! Yes, it might require a little patience to get into a closed tracker... but I think that's a small price to pay to improve our image, help T-I, and cut down on users that ask for invites simply to toss them away just to get a quick iGiver.

So. Imagine we have some accounts that we don't use and that can serve to other people. How to give them ?

1. All trackers HATE traders & account GAs

Same for invites trades/GA... What's the difference for the trackers? No one.

it doesnt really matter to me right now. i voted yes to keep them because at one point i would like to stop downloading torrents, and so i would like to keep this option open so i can help out some other people. As for the "at least 10%" need to vote to close the account GAs does that mean that if after 200 votes have been cast and 11% voted against keeping acc GAs and 89% voted to keep them, you will get rid of them anyways? or am i completely wrong. I think it should just be the majority. if >50% vote against it then get rid of it, but if >50% vote to keep it, then keep it.

@Nobody is Here - You are a TRADER! Of course you want to keep account GAs... You also gave away a ScL acct on 4/15, only to offer a 2nd ScL acct 5 days later.
