    I vote "No".
In my opinion, everyone should be responsible for their account.
If you don't use the account, you should let it be delete by system.
If you trade it, maybe someone who was kind to invite you would be punished.

I vote NO simply because of the trust issue over WWW. Its just too much of a risk for the majority of the community. Its simple, you don't want it, let it die or do the below on your own personal time.

However, the only way that I would've voted YES is if you know the person face to face and possibly for years. I'm speaking of folks that you hang around with, co-workers, brothers, sisters, mommies, daddies, and baby. Then and only then you can give it away.....maybe.

I feel a little bad having voted yes wrongly
First of, if it's possible... Please change it

Well, over to my arguments (even though I'm as n00b as they come, I guess I should say a word or two... even if I'm just repeating what's been said so far...):
I'm a new user, and still haven't seen to much of this site, but has come to admire the way this works. This would mean that I'd love to stay here over time and see as this community grows, I do not want to see it fall lower or standing still!
Account GAs are, as already said hundreds of times, ruining for this site and even greedy people should see the advantages of ridding the site of this.

I understand the ppl promoting it, saying it's their own risk... but the counters holds far more water; it'll hurt the entire invite tree, and therefore getting undeserving people punished...

    Let's stop this madness :P
(look at me talking... wasn't even aware of this problem till I read this thread )

I think it should me kept, i don't see any problem on giving away the account...
I actually see it as a good thing. If you don't use it anymore, why not give it to someone else so they can enjoy it.
    that's my opinion...

Since some members think this ban will hurt their chances for high level accounts, I decided to compile a list of every GA for the past 2 month. Anyone want to guess the results?

    Level 10 = 0
    Level 9 = 0
    Level 8 = 0
    Level 7 = 0
    Level 6 = 0
    Level 5 = 0
    Level 4 = 2

That means 99.3% of the 281 account GAs were for the easiest trackers to get into. Close to 90% were actually for the bottom 2 levels (trackers with OPEN signups & "just ask" invites).

I have to admit I was surprised to see how bad the average account GA really is. While there were a few decent GAs, it appears the vast majority are nothing more than iGiver cheating.... similar to the bonus swapping that Sraosha stopped a few months ago. Yet another reason to vote NO!

Until account GAs are banned, I suggest we treat them the same way that traders were handled. I suspect more members will vote NO if their name ends up on a list and they start getting denied invites:

No matter how this vote thing goes. I'd like to propose a note of some kind on people that are AGAINST this (kinda like the "anti trader" thing. I believe that alot of people here don't want to hand out invites to people that thinks it's ok to give accounts away. In that case we can still protect our invites. For example Ursus "Account keeper"

I think just by reading through these pages we can see that the majority of people who actually contribute to this site voted against keeping Account GAs.
For me, I think that's the strongest evidence that this community is against them.

As Ursus said, if this falls through, i really wont be giving my invites to people who have tags like "may pass on my accounts".
Every good inviter takes care and and judiciously gives out invites to people he can trust will keep it well. But the same becomes impossible if that accounts are passed on.....
    This really must stop.

    a big NO from me.

I voted no, why would you give an account away to a random person? It's a big bag of trouble.
