The giveaway section isn't being removed. This discussion is about whether account (not invite) giveaways should become against the rules or not.

You guys who wants to GA accounts have nothing to go on.

1. Improve Tracker Relations
2. Less scamming
3. Less likely to get Global Ban
4. More invites instead of accounts

I believe that accounts should be able to be given away but only to trusted members and also if they are going to use their account there is no point in collecting for the sake of it I have been away for a few months and upon my return I have found so many changes if you keep on making these changes there will be no site left.

Is anyone else curious about who voted Yes & No? I reviewed every post and here are the results:

It's too bad the vote is hidden so we can't see all of the "Yes" users. Considering that 15% of the "Yes" users that posted responses were banned for trading, cheating or scamming in just the past week... I'm wondering how many other hidden "Yes" voters have also been banned?

Should a banned user's vote still be counted?

Does anyone else think the "Yes" vote would be lower if this was an open poll?

EDIT: Three more "Yes" users were banned in the last few days. That's a total of 5 out of 13 were banned in just the past 2 weeks (38%). How many "No" members were banned? ZERO out of 35. Do that math... people that give accounts are high security risks and much more likely to cheat, scam and trade.

I'm starting to wonder if some people actually understand that this is about account ga's. This is not about invite ga's.

Vegas: Yes would be lower if people actually understood the importance of this poll. I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of "yes" voters were either new to the community or as you pointed out "bad users".
