Thread: New rank information

Hi just to let you guys know there are new rules to attaining higher ranks.

Rank Name = Number of posts required to reach rank

Just starting = 0 posts
10 percent = 1 reputation
33 percent = 50 posts + 5 reputation + 7 days at site
55 percent = 100 posts + 20 reputation + 30 days at site
75 percent= 250 posts
99 percent = 500 posts
Complete = 1000 posts

It is not possible to skip ranks. All prerequisites of previous rank must be met before you can go forward a rank.

Also sections such as the trusted section have been similarly restricted.

You will have no access to trusted invite section till you achieve 55 percent. Thus you will need 100 posts 20 reputation + 30 days at site at least.

As always subject to change, those that have already achieved the ranks will not be affected.

I would say 150 - 200 posts and 20 rep. But looks fine for me.

Sounds like a good idea, im sure a lot of people have a clue where the rep button is though, nor do they know its ok to click on it for people that give good feedback etc..

Excellent. Now do VIP's have access regardless on their post and reputation count?

i think this is a good thing. In this way users will have to become more active in order to achieve ranks and of coursr ; "Trusted Giveaway". And something is sure, 20 rep points are not easy to earn. So everyone please become more active not only in the marketplace, but also at offtopic and the other sections. You wont get rep point only at the marketplace, but also in the other sections We need you in order to make this forum the best of the best !

Really great change and explanation as well, hopefully this will discourage spamers and help to keep forum clear
