I think what the site team is doing now is the smart thing. You'll get a fair amount of new users with the open signup so you'll have to clean out eventually... but with them will come experienced people as well.

But moving to invite only should only be done until we've got a good amount :)

i agree mate but i think we should close signup for 1 week and see how acitve these forums would be in giving invites and general chatting.

Then after 1 week decide to clean users and implement invite system or not......

The problem is that there is almost no one taking giveaways and very little trading at the moment as I can see it.

Hm perhaps because they want to see how secure this site is?
