All VIP Tiers can now....

Ask for any non-sticky seedbox advertisers for a free 1 week trial of their seedboxes.



The trial seedbox must have at least:

--10 gigs of space

--50 gigs of transfer

Up to two can be asked per thread and after the trial you must post a review in the same thread.

Any seedbox advertiser not complying will have their threads closed.

Any VIP user that does not post a review after the trial will also be punished.

This is per thread. This only applies in the "Seedbox Advertising" section.

Advertisers should be given 24 hrs to respond. After this time advertising threads not complying will be closed.

You may only be applying for one at any given time and cannot apply for another until you have finished your review of your last one.

This new policy is to:

--Cut down on fraudulent companies that attempt to scam users into giving money without actually having the ability to provide for services

--Provide each thread with a review of services in order to better educate members

--Provide better value for paying advertisers

--Give more benefits to our awesome VIPs


Please simply link to this thread (it is a sticky in the seedbox advertising section) if seedbox advertisers question the new policy. Please only ask for a review if less than two people have asked for one. i.e. If you see you are third.. Don't bother.

As always with new rules this will be a trial to see if it works out. Please give feedback and comments.

I have a quick question to ask - what about VIP's applying in multiple threads.. for instance VIP member number 1 is the first to apply in 3 threads to claim his 3 weeks of seed box trials, are you looking to limit how many people can apply in at any given time?

I think 1 at a time should be good enough.

Shouldn't there be a limit to how many per month each user requests though? Or we could have some members applying each week in a different thread. Which, would be abusive, and also keep other members from getting a chance as well. Should be limited to 1 or 2 applications per month per member, or even longer so everyone who wants one has an easier time getting in.

How long does the reviewer have to compile and post the review before we step in?
Can the advertiser please post in the thread to who and when the seed box was given, so we have definitive dates to work from.
Do the trials qualify for an igiver?

1. I think the advertiser should get more than 24 hours to respond before their thread is closed. As everyone knows I am having difficulties and home lately and I am not around as much as I'd like to be. sometimes I cant log in for days at a time.
Perhaps 48 hours would be fairer?

2. Does the advertiser have the right to deny a seedbox? If not then they may have to give away a LOAD of free seedboxes?

1. Lets say 24 hrs for the review... Doesn't have to be extensive. Just comments on uptime, speed, ease of ui etc.

2. I would say something to be encouraged is posting in the thread requesting then the advertisers quoting the post and pmng details.

I don't think it will be a problem. We will narrow the rules down if it is.

Would the one week a minimum or suggestion? One week seems long for a free trial

I think one week is perfect for a normal seedbox provider. I had an experience with seedbox scammers where the seedbox worked for the first days but then died because they probably rented seedboxes themselves and gave them to multiple users. Anyway, don't know that for sure but one week is OK in my opinion.
