Thread: PTP Recruitment Deal

Hi guys,

This is to inform you that T-I has reached a new agreement with PTP. From this point forward, PTP invites may be given only in the VIP section. Non VIPs who have reached 33% may apply for PTP in our recruitment thread, headed up by our PTP Site Rep vlatkost. Current giveaways in the 55% section should be closed. You can accomplish this by clicking on the Administrative drop down menu and choosing "Close Thread."

Let's everyone thank PTP and vlatkost for continuing to recruit at T-I and working with us to keep both PTP and T-I safe and clean communities. :)

Additionally, per our agreement, invitations to WhatCD remain available only in the VIP section.

I think those were unnecessary actions on PTP's part, as obtaining those invites is so difficult and no one wants to put one's account at risk, only the best candidates received invites to PTP in the 55% section. But well, if that's what they want, then we'd better respect that wish because IMO it's always better to stay friends with trackers rather than let them blacklist us or do something of similar effect.

They like to keep the tracker clean and they want to keep the quality. This is great news for T-I and i think that we should get this kind of deal with as many tracker is possible. Also i don't see any risk of your account if you are a good user and you applied for invite here... Don't forget that you can always get your PTP or any other invite in the tracker power users/invite forums. With a little effort you can get invite to any site you want. The first step would be to get in What.CD what.cd interview and achieve the power user... they have one of the best invite forums and you can get many of excellent and respected trackers from there including PTP BTN...

its always a great thing when we all can agree and keep a good relationship going between this community and trackers. great news!

I'm not sure about this whole VIP thing. To be honest, I would prefer if invites weren't allowed even in VIP as long as there is an active recruitment thread. VIP membership can be bought for 30 euros or something like that. I understand that people in the VIP giveaway threads also have requirements like ratio proofs and whatnot but it still does not sit right with me.

Still, having a relationship like this with trackers is great! Keep up the great work!

+1 for keeping good relations with different trackers. even though the requirements are pretty tough, i still give an applause to the tracker staff for realizing that invite forums like T-I are a great (actually perfect) place to seek new members. most of our guys have past experiences in torrenting and all the new people coming in, they have all the reviews, tutorials and help from other fellow mates to get them moving in the right direction. and at that point, they are ready for some "interrogations"

and about the VIP thing. i think they allowed invites at that section for one reason - if you pay for the VIP tag, you could open up your wallet for their donations as well . it has nothing to do with extra security, it's all about money!!!

the decision to keep invites out of a certain section of the forum is not up for debate. This deal with PTP was struck with staff from both sites so it is what it is, stay on topic and just give vlatkost his props for being willing to sit and discuss matters rather then being stubborn and not willing to negotiate the same goes for Sera and What.cd, thanks guys much respect
