It is that time again...

Opinion polls.

Do you guys think we should have a certain amount of reputation before being able to enter the trusted giveaway section?

If so how many?

yes, it needs to be exclusive. spamming should not let you get into the section. anyone can post 100, but not everyone can get rep. Even to an extent of saying either have 10 rep or 20 itrader. what it says is that the member is serious about being a "trusted" member

althou..i agree wit you (schuwe) their should be a rep system to get in but saying ppl spamming the boards doesnt mean anything, is a bit wrong..there arent always important questions to answer so what is wrong having a cool time answering the dumb but cool questions like what you DLing etc? nothing!!

so yes im for it but saying ppl spamming the forum answering unless question isnt loyal or trustful is just wrong.

i say spamming loosely. what i mean by that is people rush to 100 posts then stop just to see what is there. People dont post difficult to get invites there anymore, its the same thing as the reg giveaways but just not as many. but its not really that exclusive. i would say if dave wants to make it exclusive again then he should make it more difficult to get into.

I think their should be some sort of exclusivity to get in to that section. I agree that the current measure of "100 posts" means that we sometimes have to read through a lot of meaningless drivel and "me too"s i.e. the forums are somewhat overloaded with quantity rather than quality posts. That having been said, I've only been awarded 1 rep point so far even though I try to contribute to forum discussions in a meaningful way.

The problem is then those guys that post the free code to pretome and then expect itrade. If its going off of itrade then it should be a higher number. bitmetv should be considered a trusted giveaway, and just cuz someone gave away 6 ipt invites doesnt mean they are trusted enough to get it.

It should be a high number of itrades, reps, or a combo of both. You could also just make it an invite only thing, where once somones been around helping and giving then they get access.
