Thread: IRC Gone Rogue

It's a physicists worst nightmare.

Our forth dimensional toilet plunger has gone rogue in our main channel. Someone has rooted my box and decompiled my java bot and rewrote it to take over the channel and kick all who enter. I would just like assure everyone that we are in the process of fixing it.

I was just wondering why was I kicked without any reason. Even didn't let me in.
Hope it gets fixed soon.

Ha that is kinda funny....but on a serious note it's still kinda funny.

well I initially thought it was an April fool joke, I laughed at it and re-tried the same thing happened I went to the help and laughed harder when came to know it wasn't a joke L0L

It was a joke. It's over now since the bot was killed by someone.(Honestly, I forgot about it after i did some work. So the joke was running about 6 hours straight) It kicked anyone with authorization level of 0 but only from the main channel.
