Default Did you know this about TIv3?

Here we discuss some of the lesser known features of TIv3....

    So... Here we go....

    • TIv3 is quite demanding on a computer however firefox 4 will alleviate such problems.
    • The likes function is very clever. When you like a post it logs which one you liked before adding it to the total like count at the top. Now if you click it it will tell you which posts have been most "liked". This allows you to find the best posts in a thread without actually browsing the whole thread.
    • If you quick reply someone's post it will open up a quick reply box right underneath so you do not need to scroll up if you forgot what they said.
    • If you scroll to the bottom of new threads you will see "similar threads" which let you browse similar threads easily.
    • The blog feature is a fully functional blog. It is not a shoddy aftermarket script. You will be able to allow guests to post comments change the name of your blog, enter anti spam detail etc. Everything you find in a commerical blog platform.
    • The site search now utilizis sphinx search. This is way faster than the previous vbulletin default. Try it out now!

I'm encountering heavy lag since the new update, so should the firefox 4 reduce it? Going to try it.

//Hell yeah, ff4 solved the problem! ty

Zero lag with Firefox 4, I can confirm that.

I have 1 gb ram, 2.4 ghz dual core and 8600GT for reference.

Firefox 4 uses hardware acceleration by default - no wonder this site works flawlessly and smooth in it :)

I have been using Chrome 10, and have not had any issues with lag. If anything T-I v3, is running faster and smoother than T-I v2, probably down to the new T-I hardware.

Great job on the update. Still getting used to things, but know once I have settled in to v3 I will love it.

    No lag here at all.
Though all my input boxes are completely black so its impossible to see them (including the login boxes).

After using forum for couple days, I still have the feeling that is some kind slower than previous version.
