Should we go invite only?

How i was thinking of doing this would be...

A person registers.

He then gets access to a single forum. At which point he can post an introduction.

Now any member can go along and give him a rep point if they like the members intro.

Once he recieves two rep points he will be auto promoted to a normal user and be able to access the rest of the forums.

Whatcha guys reckon?

Definitely. You could make an intro section and then do that easily. That way people will be forced to be active for at least 1 post before they are allowed to do anything.

Oh yeah I'm for this. But of course Mod's approval should count as 2 points. Teeheehee

Congrats on 1k posts Asher and.. I think it should be a little harder than just getting 2 people to rep them, although its just my opinion

Thanks a lot bobby, but I think that 2 is fair, it is still higher than to get into any other torrent invite forum. But after all, we're the best. Where else do you see people giving away level 5's?

This is the best torrent invites forum ever and as such, I believe it should take between 3 and 5 reps. =P

I like it. To get into the private trackers you need to get into the private forum first .

yes it sounds good but i think ppl should have more rep, and in advance i don't think ppl under 100 posts should have the right to vote, cose that way all ppl can give rep everyday long. i think more active ppl should give rep since we r here all the time :) and ofc just my opinion
