Hide trade section till 50 posts?
What do you think guys?
That way any trades that go on will be a little more secure. i.e. any scammers that get banned will have to work hard to get back in....
Tell me guys if you want to have a "wait" before being able to access the section.
i.e. you have to be 50 posts and have been a member for a week before being able to access the forum

Yes, I think this is a good idea, this makes it more sure people won't just hit the site for an invite and never post again.

I voted for No since I think that 50posts are a bit to much. There could be a higher post requirement though. Thinking more of 30-40 at highest, and even 40 seems to bit at the highest side. Since this also is a forum mainly about tracker invites, maybe create a bit more side content around it, not to much, or trying to raise the quality of it somehow a bit more? =)
I also don't know the exact requirements for the rest of the topics but maybe also mainly change that?
Give Invites: 10/15 [Asking 15-20-25]
Competetion: 15+
Trade/request: 25+ [ Don't know which of those should be higher. Trade as possible place to scam, request as of rudeness for asking for invite while not even connected to community?]
Hope this helps.
Edit: Oow you could throw in the requirement right away, don't see that make any difference. Only of people changing there opinion at highest since they are suddenly the subject.
Greetings, Elonoir. ^^

I disagree, I think users should show some commitment and work a lot towards getting invites.

I stil agree with that too. That they should show some commitment, only I think that 50post is a bit to high requirement for the required commitment, ^^
* Also a little side note, if you raise the requirement to much less people will get inside and the actual trading will probably decrease. Though it could also increase 'cause of gained trust. While I still think you could be scammed. *

An invite is a quite a nice gesture, I feel that 50 posts is not that large of a requirement and far from unobtainable.

True it isn't unobtainable, only as of yet there is yet so much side activity going around. =)
And if you really want to trade only with trusted people, we still have the trusted giveaway section for that.
[ Sorry if I am acting to stubborn. ]
