Trade script addon!
What do you guys think...
We can have a plugin to automate the trade process
First the two parties must make new gmail accounts
then enter details
once details are entered then the parties send invites to the respective accounts
the script checks for certain keywords in incoming mail ( the script will only support certain trackers)
then if invite is present the invitation is copied and pm'ed to the respective users as well as the email passwords and usernames
This ensures that 1 person does not get their invite first and change the passwords to the email
of course this is just in planning
we wanna know what you guys think!

I'd have to see it working first, and even then I'd still be wary of using a automated system
I doubt using gmail is such a good idea either. With all the API's available, plus POP3 etc which are all vectors to be exploited.

well this is all just a scare system
i mean how far would a guy go to scam someone
it wouldn't really be automated, you would have most of the control, i.e. nothing will happen if you don't send the invite

a scammer could put in a fake invite code, it wouldn't be 100% safe

well the first thing it could do would be to delete any existing messages on the account and then apply filters to only allow mail from certain servers i.e. tracker servers
then it will start scanning for the invite email every few hours
that will pretty much make it safe

there are a few torrent sites that just give you the invite directly on their website, and don't email it from their server

I'd still trust middlemen more, BUT, if you can get this working, it would be pretty awesome... I think :D
