Persuade, huh? Well, here goes nothing! I'd really appreciated a BitMe invite, because I'm in education for the next good 3 years, therefore any type of resource which could help better off my education would be awesome, that and the fact that I love learning programming languages, so far I've learnt C and javascript and am currently trying to learn obj-c, any help with that would be awesome, hence my request! :)
At the end of the day, the decision's down to you though, I'll be honest with you here, gnucyclist, does seem to have better stats than me here and he's been here longer as you said. The only thing I may beat him on is ratio, something I'm pretty good at, well, I like to think I am anyway. As a side note to further try and warm you towards inviting me, I've been on SCC for less than a week and have already up'd more than 250GB whilst still holding a pretty awesome ratio in my opinion
Thanks for the opportunity, there's not many people who would share a BM invite with us 10 percent-ers, it's much appreciated!

I'm sorry for the late reply. But here it goes:
I'm studying Computer Science and I love programming (mostly the gnu/linux environment everything from assembly to web programming), just like YolayHohae it seems. Of course I don't intend to use BitMe to download regular ebooks about CS or algorithms (I have a library.nu account and they have almost everything, it's the site I love most), but there's an occasional ebook that you can't find anywhere(recently I've been looking for a particular german book that I would like to read, to improve my german), so your chances would increase if you had an BitMe account. I've read about how hard it is to maintain your ratio, about how you have to fight for every single byte of upload, and I assure you I won't get you into trouble. I intend to be active, but I won't download anything if my ratio goes below a certain stage (it is unlikely that this will happen). I will take care about that account.
Anyway, I wish YolayHohae good luck, as I said, I would love to get it myself. Of course I intend to give back to the community, but first you need to take care about your ratio.
Thank you very much, you deserve special recognition because there are few who share invites so prestigious with 10% members. I am trying hard to get up on this scale.

Ok, let's conclude this thread. I've read both posts (twice). You both wrote what I wanted to hear from you, and I can see you are both good students (I was also studying computer science years ago - finished it somehow - so, good luck to both of you with your study).
However, I had to choose, and I decided to give this last invite to gnucyclist for the following reasons:
- has a membership on T-I a little longer
- has more posts
- has pretty better UL speed (this tracker is a real pain in the ass for maintaining ratio - I mean it!)
- has more iGivers
- and the thing that convinced me the most: he mentioned an account with library.nu and all his iGivers were for docspedia and bitsypder which both are very educational/learning oriented sites. Similar to BM of course.
I hope I made the right decision. No personal offense YolayHohae please, I will keep in mind that you proved to be a great candidate this time, so when I get an additional invite there I will put you on the priority list. :) I would invite you both, but I only have one invite left.
So, all you three chosen members, please PM me with your email addresses (if you didn't already do so) so I can send an invite as soon as the site is back up.
Good luck to all of you!
