Ratio Proof Examples

Below are examples of a correctly edited proof (Img 1): and a proof with handy tips to guide you through the process (img 2)

Step by Step instructions:

• Go to the home page or browse page of the tracker

• [Optional step] If the inviter asked you to do a search on a certain word or name, you need to go to the browse page. Put the word in the search bar and hit enter to obtain the required search results (see img 3 for an example of a proof with search results). Skip this point if no search was asked for.

• Put your TI username and the date on which you apply in the URL bar of your browser.

• Take a full-page screenshot of your display (hit the PrtScr key), and make sure your OS taskbar and your bookmarks toolbar are fully exposed and visible. Open up an image editing program (e.g. Paint) and paste your image (Ctrl+V).

• Completely edit out your username, user class, number of invites and bonus points.

• Partially cover your ratio, download, and upload so that only the first digits and the units (e.g. GB or TB) remain visible.

• Make sure no nudity is visible.

• Upload your proof to our T-I image host, Imageshack or Imagebam. Do NOT use another image host.

• When the upload is complete, you'll get a set of different links. Select and copy the second link, i.e. below "Link directly to your photo".

• Paste the direct link into your application and put the image tags [img] and [/img] around the link.

Seedbox Proofs

To counter any type of fraud or con, we suggest and recommend the below type of seed box proof. Please understand that we do not enforce this type of proof. We leave it up to the inviter to decide whether or not the below procedure should be followed. However, it's highly advised to use all possible security measures to avoid fake proofs.

Step by step Instructions:

• Go to the original post of the giveaway thread you're applying in.

• Now open up a new browser window (hit Ctrl+N) and go to your rutorrent client

• Resize this new window so that it partially covers the giveaway you're currently applying in, and make sure to leave the inviter's profile box uncovered

• In the window containing your rutorrent client, put your TI username and the date on which you apply into the url bar

• Hit the PrtScr key. Now open up an image editing program, and paste your screen capture (Ctrl+V). Do NOT edit anything, just save your image.

• Upload the screenshot to our T-I image host, Imageshack or Imagebam. Do NOT use another image host.
